Migraine Headache and HEG
Migraine headaches are still in large part a mystery to medical science.
While classical forms of biofeedback like hand warming and breathing exercises have been found to have a significant positive effect, they offer limited relief and are slow.
A new procedure, called hemoencephalography or HEG, seems to be much more effective and faster.
Our clinic uses HEG both for migraine, and sometimes as an adjunct to neurofeedback for Attention Deficit Disorder.
Al Collins recently wrote a short article describing HEG: Self-Control for Migraine Headaches: Learning from Yoda
